I just want to say that I have enjoyed all of your books. I started reading your books when you starting writting historicals (you have always been correct on your historical facts, I am also a history and trivia buff). I have found out that I have missed so me of your early historical books, so I keep checking ebay for them. You are one of the best writers I have read, I am 59 years old so I know what I am talking about. I have over 2,000 paperbacks and I am still collecting all of your books I can find.

Dear Gayle,
I just finished reading, His Secret Duchess, which was recommended to me by a friend and fellow-Romance writer (neither of us are published yet)who told me that she re-reads it twice a year. I was not familiar with your name or your books, but I found the book on Amazon, ordered it and read it.
It is the best-written book I\'ve ever read! I cannot convey to you, how wonderful it felt to read your prose. I love good writing. Where did you learn to write so beautifully? Your descriptions are exquisite! Although I am a Literature major and a life-long r eader, I find it amazing that you can impart so much information, description and transition in one sentence without it being awkward. You have a true gift for writing.
I couldn\'t wait to find our who you were. How I wish that I had known about you sooner so that I could have been enjoying your books all the year s you\'ve been writing them. I sure do want to meet you the next time I attend an RWA National Conference.
Fondly, Anne

I came across your book Bogeyman in a bunch of books that I had bought and never read. Honestly I had never even heard of you, but last night I started reading Bogeyman and was halfway through it before I realized it. Then this morning I come on your site and see that you live in Hueytown!!!!!!! How have I never heard of you? Anyway I just want to say that I have only read half of one of your books and I am already shopping for others and spreading the word around the office that I have a new favorite author.
